Pakistan International Airlines facilitates delayed passengers

Islamabad, October 29, 2015 (PPI-OT):Those passengers who could not board PK 701 from Islamabad to Manchester as they were not informed of the change in flight schedule owing to maintenance of runway at Islamabad airport were boarded on subsequent PIA flights to Manchester without any additional charges.

Islamabad airport is closed from 1 pm to 6 pm every day till the end of this month due to maintenance of runway and schedule of all flights taking off and landing at the airport during this time has been changed.

In this connection, all passengers of PK 701 had been informed about the early departure of their flight, but regrettably the seven passengers could not be contacted as they had either provided their UK cell numbers or had given numbers of their travel agents. PIA also provided free hotel accommodation to the delayed passengers.
