Pakistan likely to get USD 1.5 billion by Dec 2012 – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi, July 05, 2012 (PPI-OT): Pakistan is likely to get an amount of USD 1.5 billion under Coalition Support Fund (CSF) by December 2012 as a consequence of resumption of Nato supplies after receiving an apology from US on killings of soldiers at Salala check post.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited, the receipt of the said amount was pending after being approved by the US authorities. Pakistan is scheduled to receive ~USD 800 million during the first quarter FY13. The receipt of the said amount would provide cushion to the foreign exchanges reserves which in turn may stabilize the Pak Rupee against US Dollar.
