Pakistan Telecommunication Company Announces Delay in Annual General Meeting

Karachi, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has received an extension from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan to hold its Annual General Meeting, which was initially scheduled following the conclusion of the fiscal year on December 31, 2023. The new date set by SECP is May 29, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this extension allows PTCL more time to compile its annual reports and address any regulatory or operational issues before presenting them to the shareholders.
