Pakistan Tobacco Company Announces Substantial Interim Dividend

Karachi, The Board of Directors of Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited has declared a significant interim cash dividend following their meeting held via email circulation on June 21, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company will distribute a first interim cash dividend for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, at Rs. 30.00 per share, which translates to a substantial 300%. No bonus shares, rights shares, or other corporate actions were announced.

The declared dividend will be payable to shareholders registered in the company’s books as of July 2, 2024. To accommodate this payment, the share transfer books will remain closed from July 3 to July 5, 2024. The company has specified that all transfers received at FAMCO Share Registration (Pvt.) Limited, Karachi by the close of business on June 26, 2024, will be eligible for the dividend.

This dividend declaration underscores Pakistan Tobacco Company’s strong financial performance and commitment to returning value to its shareholders.
