Pakistani mangoes make their way to Japan

Islamabad, August 05, 2015 (PPI-OT):The King of Fruits-Mangoes from Pakistan arrived in Honshu region. Giving customers a new exciting reason to shop early and often, AEON one of the leading retail giants of Japan, showcased Pakistani mangoes, bringing quality and affordability together for its customers.

AEON being the pioneer retail chain store in Japan to offer the highly coveted fruit to shoppers in 2014, agreed to increase their imports of mangoes from Pakistan and continue to work with Global Gap Certified companies of Pakistan meeting the Global Food Standards.

According to Mr Wakamoto of AEON, “We are trying to expand our sales remarkably this year by advertising the most prominent characteristics of Pakistani mango, namely, sweetness!! We are planning to sell the king of fruit until the middle of September. Please stop by our store”.

Not only the Japanese customers, but also Pakistani nationals residing in Japan, who have longed for easy availability of their country’s most prized fruit, this summer will be able to find their favoured mango on supermarket shelves all across Japan, says a press release received here today from Tokyo.
