Pakistani pilgrims express satisfaction over Hajj arrangements

Pakistani intending pilgrims have expressed satisfaction over the excellent Hajj arrangements, especially the standard of food, transport, and health facilities.

Talking to Radio Pakistan Special Correspondent Muhammad Akram Khan in Makkah today, they said high quality and healthy food is being served to them.

Imtiaz Ahmed Waryah from Islamabad said a healthy diet of Pakistani taste is provided to pilgrims to keep them hale and hearty and enabling the Hujjaj to spare maximum time for praying. He said well-cooked food with enough quantity is served to the pilgrims. He said food include mutton, chicken meat, pulses, vegetables, fruit, mineral water, lassi, vermicelli, halwa, and sweet rice. A woman pilgrim from Sialkot also lauded the quality of food and said that it saves their time and keep them healthy and active to focus on worship.

Another lady pilgrim said the staff, who serves them food, is very polite, professional, and cooperative.

The pilgrims also appreciated medical facilities being extended to them. They said staff of the medical mission is very cooperative and compassionate to the ailing pilgrims.

Asghar Ali Abbasi, a pilgrim from Islamabad, said he has not witnessed such a grand facilitation in the entire Pakistan, which pilgrims are observing in Makkah. He said facility for all necessary tests, including ex-ray, and ECG, is also available for pilgrims. He said medicines are also being provided free of cost.

Expressing satisfaction over the transport facility, the Pakistani pilgrims said that they face no difficulty in their movement to Haram and back to their residences. They appreciated the government for ensuring continuous and round the clock transport facility to the pilgrims.

Radio Pakistan Correspondent reports that large bottles of Zam Zam water, with dispenser, is also being provided to Hujjaj in their buildings.
