Pakistani Prime Minister Discusses Kashmir Issue with Iranian President


Islamabad, In a significant diplomatic engagement on Monday, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed the Kashmir dispute with visiting Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, highlighting ongoing concerns over the region’s struggle for self-determination.



According to Kashmir Media Service, during a joint press conference, Prime Minister Sharif thanked the Iranian leadership for its support of the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed profound gratitude towards President Raisi and the people of Iran for their vocal support of Kashmir’s cause. Sharif poignantly remarked on the severe conditions in Kashmir, stating that the region had been marred by the bloodshed of its people.



Sharif optimistically asserted that liberation for Kashmir was imminent and that the Kashmiri people would soon achieve their right to self-determination. Additionally, the Prime Minister praised Iran’s position on the Palestinian issue, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause. He called for a united voice from Muslim nations to support Palestinian rights on international platforms.
