The Pakistani community living in Beijing is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with religious zeal and fervor.
Pakistan Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi along with diplomats, officials, businessmen, traders, teachers and students offered Eid prayers at Pakistan Embassy mosque.
On this occasion, special prayers were offered for peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Muslims in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Gansu province, Qinghai province and other parts of the country also celebrated the Eid ul Fitr festival with traditional zeal.
Pakistan Embassy in Beijing also hosted an exquisite Eid Mela to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani families, children, students, officials of the Embassy and Chinese friends.
Highlights of the event included traditional Pakistani cuisine, desserts and a range of activities for the children.
