Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have issued a staunch declaration that there will be no compromise on the nation’s peace and security, following a successful military operation in Khyber district against the Fitna-al Khawarij.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders expressed their unwavering support for the armed forces, acknowledging their bravery and sacrifices in today’s operation aimed at curbing terrorism. The statements underscored a collective national resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until it is completely eradicated from Pakistan.

President Zardari emphasized that the Pakistani people are ready to make any necessary sacrifices for their country’s security, while Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed the nation’s solidarity with its military forces, recognizing their unyielding efforts to maintain peace.
