People, imaams asked to hold prayers for release of Aasiya

Srinagar, July 12, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat has appealed to the people especially Imaams of masajid to hold special prayers for the release of party Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi from the custody of Delhi-based National Investigation Agency, notorious for implicating Kashmiri resistance leaders in fake cases to force them into submission.

A DeM spokesperson in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Aasiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen and Sofi Fehmeeda along with many other women activists were suffering in jails because of raising voice against the atrocities perpetrated by India and its stooges in the occupied territory. “Our leaders represent the muzzled voices of Kashmiris and India should keep this in mind that such tactics won’t make Dukhtaran-e-Millat budge,” the spokesperson added. Aasiya Andrabi and two of her associates were shifted to Delhi by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on July 06, 2018.
