Pishin District Enforces Price Control Measures for Essential Goods

Pishin, Deputy Commissioner Captain (Rtd) Juma Dad Khan Mandukhel led a District Price Control Committee meeting to ensure the enforcement of regulated prices on food items across the district, with a strict mandate against overcharging by traders.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting reviewed the performance of the Price Control Committee and issued new guidelines on the pricing of essential commodities. Deputy Commissioner Mandukhel directed strict adherence to the set prices and announced that non-compliance by traders would lead to legal actions under existing regulations. The committee also plans to consult with Anjuman Tajran before implementing further price adjustments, aiming to balance trader cooperation with consumer protection.
