PM in Tehran to offer condolences for Iranian President’s death in helicopter crash

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today attended commemoration ceremony in the honor of martyred Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in Tehran today and offered condolences.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Tehran on a day long visit to extend condolence with Iranian Government and people over martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raeesi and other dignitaries in helicopter crash.

Iranian Minister for Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazarpash welcomed the Prime Minister on his arrival at Tehran International Airport.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister will call on the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Imam Khamenei and meet Acting President of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber, to convey condolences on behalf of the people and Government
of Pakistan.
