Posters in IIOJK Honor Burhan Wani on 8th Martyrdom Anniversary

Srinagar, In a vivid display of remembrance, posters paying tribute to Burhan Muzaffar Wani, a noted youth leader, have been put up across various locations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to mark his 8th martyrdom anniversary.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Wani was killed along with two associates by Indian troops in what was described as a fake encounter in the Kokernag area of the Islamabad district on July 8, 2016. His death led to widespread protests throughout the region, during which over 150 civilian protesters were killed and thousands were injured by Indian forces.

The posters, organized by various pro-freedom parties, call on the public to commemorate Wani and other martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices and showing support for their families.
