Posters in IIOJK Mark Anniversary of Burhan Wani’s Death

Srinagar: In several regions of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), posters have been put up to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, a widely recognized youth leader.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Wani and two of his associates were killed by Indian troops in what has been described as a fake encounter in the Kokernag area of the Islamabad district on July 8, 2016. The display of these posters reflects the ongoing reverence for Wani among many in the region, symbolizing his role in the local struggle for self-determination.
