PPI Original Text (PPI-OT) – 3rd Death anniversary of Begum Allama Rasheed Turabi observed

Karachi, May 29, 2012 (PPI-OT): Third death anniversary of Begum Allama Rasheed Turabi was observed on Monday throughout the world including Atlanta (USA) and Pakistan.

According to an announcement by Allama Rasheed Turabi Trust and Foundation International, special Majalis and Quran Khawani gatherings were held in memory of the departed soul. President Allama Rasheed Turabi Trust and Foundation and prominent scholar Dr. Salman Turabi held special prayers on behalf of his brothers Dr. Maisam Turabi and Dr. Ammar Turabi while thanking the audience who attended the prayers ceremony. He also requested all well-wishers to recite Sura-e-Fateha for the departed soul.
