Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has lauded the establishment of the Wall of Martyrs at the Interior Ministry in Islamabad, a poignant tribute to the individuals who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad this afternoon, he acknowledged the importance of recognizing and honoring the sacrifices rendered by politicians, lawyers, judges, as well as military and police personnel in the successful eradication of terrorism from Pakistan.
He regretted that the PTI-led previous regime took a strange decision of allowing hardcore terrorists to settle in Pakistan. He said this decision undermined all the efforts done to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
He stressed the need to investigate this decision of throwing Pakistan before terrorists.
Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti was also present on the occasion.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also placed a portrait of former Prime Minister and his mother Benazir Bhutto at the Wall of Martyrs.
