Mardan: The Premier Sugar Mills and Distillery Co. Ltd. has announced its board of directors’ approval for the establishment of a new jaggery plant within its existing premises, a strategic move aimed at enhancing its operational efficiency and profitability.
During a board meeting on July 26, 2024, the decision was finalized to set up the jaggery plant, which will boast a daily crushing capacity of 750 tons and a jaggery production capacity of 90 tons. This addition is expected to complement the existing sugar production operations by increasing the product line and enhancing the overall profitability of the company.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this expansion is part of the company’s broader strategy to diversify its product offerings and optimize its manufacturing processes. The Premier Sugar Mills has communicated this development to PSX, requesting that the information be shared with the TRE Certificate Holders.
The company’s initiative aligns with its long-term goals of growth and sustainability by increasing production capabilities and responding to market demands.
