President appoints Muhammad Falak Sher Farooqa as judge accountability court-II Lahore

Islamabad, January 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): President Asif Ali Zardari, today, on the advice of the Prime Minister has approved the appointment of Mr. Muhammad Falak Sher Farooqa, D and SJ/OSD, Session Court Lahore to the post of Judge, Accountability Court-II Lahore that had fallen vacant due to expiry of deputation period of its incumbent Mr. Ahmed Nawaz Ranjha on 16-09-2012.

Mr. Muhammad Falak Sher Farooqa has been appointed on deputation basis in his own pay and scale till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31-08-2013 and until further orders whichever is earlier from the date he joins the office.

The Summary received by the Presidency in this regard states that the Lahore High Court had nominated Mr. Muhammad Falak Sher Farooqa, Malik Muhammad Akram Awan and Mr. Arshad Mahmood Tabassum for posting any of them against the vacant post of Judge Accountability Court-II, Lahore.

Law and Justice Division proposed and recommended Mr. Muhammad Falak Sher Farooqa, D and SJ/OSD, Session Court Lahore to be appointed against the vacant post and requested the Prime Minister to advise the President accordingly. Acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President also gave his assent to the said appointment.
