Karachi, January 26, 2016 (PPI-OT):The 13th ITIF Asia 2016 incorporating 10th Power and Alternative Energy Asia, 12th Oil and Gas Asia, 13th Engineering Asia and 13th Auto and Transport Asia commenced from 26th January 2016 at Karachi expo centre. President S.I.T.E Association of Industry Junaid Esmail Makda inaugurated the event as the Honourable Chief Guest.
More than 100 National and International Companies are participating in this trade fair and Over 65 foreign delegates mainly from China, Korea, Iran and Taiwan gathered at the platform of 13th ITIF Asia 2016. One of the main highlight of this trade fair is the Auto show jointly organized by Ecommerce Gateway and Carmudi.
Mr. Junaid Ismail Makda said, “As President SITE Association and council member of ICC Pakistan World Chamber Federation, I am delighted to see that ITIF Asia International Trade and Industry Fair is being organized for the thirteenth time at Karachi Expo Centre which has always played its part to increase exports and GDP and its contribution in the field of Renewable Energy is commendable”.
He further said,” It becomes imperative for the industries in Pakistan to rapidly adjust to these advances. 10-15 years old machinery become obsolete and is required to be replaced with latest machines and equipments for most effective and efficient production and it has now become must to address the crucial energy problems especially of the seven industrial areas of Karachi which are predominantly dotted with large number of industries.”
He also added, “ITIF Asia is playing a pivotal role in the field of Renewable Energy as it introduced international value added machinery which can boost up our exports. Government is also playing a major role in boosting exports and solving the energy needs of the country.”
This event is also attended by Sajjad Hussain Abbasi, Administrator Karachi, Mr. Trariq Rangoonwala, Chairman, National Committee of ICC, Mr. Muhammad Jawed Bilwani, Chairman, Pakistan Apparel Forum, Mr. Zahid Saeed, President, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, Mr. Zain Bashir, President, Landhi Association of Trade and Industry, Mr. Muhammad Younus, Senior Vice President, North Karachi Association, Mr. Muhammad Irfan, Former President, Federal B. Area Association, and other dignitaries.
Dr. Kursheed Nizam, President, Ecommerce Gateway thanked all the participants, foreign delegates and Karachi Industrial Forum and all its associated Associations for their unconditional support and assistance. This 3-days event will continue till 28 January, 2016 and this trade fair is organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan; the UFI (Paris) Approved Event Organizer of Pakistan.
