Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have publicly expressed their condolences over the recent passing of the mother of senior journalist Amir Ilyas Rana. This gesture reflects the government’s recognition of the personal losses faced by members of the media community.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both the President and the Prime Minister have communicated their sympathy to the Rana family, underscoring their support during this difficult time. They extended prayers for the deceased, emphasizing their respect and regard for the bereaved family. Additionally, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar also conveyed his grief and sorrow, joining the nation’s leaders in mourning the loss of Amir Ilyas Rana’s mother.
