President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif Mourn the Loss of MPA Rana Afzaal Hussain

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Rana Afzaal Hussain, a respected Member of the Punjab Assembly and brother to Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari extended his condolences to the bereaved family, offering prayers for the deceased’s soul and expressing his sympathies with Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain. Prime Minister Sharif personally reached out to the minister, sharing his condolences over the phone.

The Prime Minister also praised Rana Afzaal Hussain’s dedicated service to the public, noting that his contributions will be long remembered. The late MPA is also survived by his son, Rana Ahmad Atteeq Anwar, who currently serves as a Member of the National Assembly.
