Prime Minister directs de-notification of Nargis Sethi as Administrator Islamabad club

Islamabad, May 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Justice (R) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has directed the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development to de-notify Mrs. Nargis Sethi as Administrator Islamabad Club. He has also directed the de-notification of Shafqat Naghmi as President Golf club.

The directions were given in the wake of observations made by the President of Pakistan who is also Patron-in-Chief of Islamabad Club/Golf Club that ex-post-facto approval cannot be granted to the appointment of Administrator Islamabad Club as it needs prior approval of the Patron-in-Chief.

Consequently, Mr. Shafqat Naghmi who was appointed President Golf Club by the Administrator without prior approval of the President of Pakistan has also been de-notified.
