Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Discusses Bilateral Ties with Kazakh Ambassador

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, at the Prime Minister House today. This courtesy call was part of the preparations for the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to Astana for the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting, scheduled for July 3-4, 2024.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his greetings to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and expressed his intent to strengthen the already excellent bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The discussions also covered potential enhancements in trade and investment, as well as the importance of regional connectivity and security. Ambassador Kistafin shared updates on several initiatives aimed at expanding relations between the two nations, reflecting a positive trajectory in their bilateral ties.
