Protest strike in Bandipora against Indian troops atrocities

Srinagar, February 14, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Bandipora town observed complete shutdown for the second consecutive day on Friday against the Indian troops highhandedness and continued detention of a youth from Aythmulla village in the town.Shopkeepers gathered in Main Chowk and observed the shutdown to protest against the atrocities committed by Indian troops.

They demanded release of youth and an end to atrocities. Meanwhile, Indian police detained the Chairperson of Dukhtar-e-Millat, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. She was lodged at Kothibagh police station.
