Punjab Chief Minister Orders Investigation into Mianwali Hospital Assault Case

Lahore, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has called for a thorough investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a midwife by two individuals at Mianwali Mother and Child Hospital. She has directed the Inspector General of Police to submit a report on the incident and emphasized the need for stern action against the offenders.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Sharif’s directive underlines the government’s commitment to justice and the protection of healthcare workers. She stressed the importance of a comprehensive probe into the matter and assured that those found guilty will face severe consequences under the law.
