Punjab govt introduces KPI to evaluate performance of police officers

Punjab government has introduced Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to evaluate the performance of police officers in the province.

The announcement was made by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in a meeting with police officers across the province in Lahore today.

Highlighting the salient features of the system, she said Key Performance Indicators will include marks for handling public complaints, filing FIRs, eliminating no-go areas and demonstrating exceptional performance.
