Punjab Govt to provide 1-KV solar systems to 50,000 households

Punjab Government will distribute one-KV solar systems among 50,000 households in the province.

This was decided at a meeting of the Roshan Punjab Programme chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today.

The meeting directed to assess the utility by installing one-KV Solar Systems in various homes.

The meeting decided that a house hold with consumption of up to 100 units will be eligible for the scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said there will be a gradual expansion of the scheme for domestic consumers.
