Punjab Police Allocates Funds for Injured Officers’ Medical Expenses

Lahore, A Compensation Award Committee meeting, directed by Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, was held at the Central Police Office to approve financial assistance for the medical treatment of six injured police officers. This initiative underlines the department’s commitment to supporting its personnel injured in the line of duty.

According to Punjab Police, the meeting resulted in the approval of significant medical financial aid for six officers from various districts. The beneficiaries include Constable Muhammad Ali of Sargodha and Head Constable Muhammad Aftab of Sheikhupura, who received three and a half lakh rupees and two and a half lakh rupees respectively. Additionally, ASI Amjad Naseer from PHP Lahore and Constable Muhammad Hashim from DG Khan were granted two lakh rupees and one lakh rupees for their medical expenses. Furthermore, ASI Ameer Ali of PTS Farooqabad and Constable Muhammad Yaqoob of Bahawalnagar police each received one lakh rupees.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the importance of swift rehabilitation for the officers and assured ongoing support from the department. He also directed senior officers to maintain close contact with injured personnel to ensure they face no hurdles in their treatment and recovery process.
