Punjab Police Commits to Supporting Families of Martyred Officers

Lahore, Under the leadership of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Police is enhancing its efforts to support the welfare of families of its martyred officers. In a recent initiative, the family of martyred Sub-Inspector Ziaullah Khan of Narowal Police was granted a residence in Lahore, fulfilling their specific request for housing.

According to Punjab Police, the family’s request for a flat in the private society of Askari 11, equipped with all necessary facilities, was approved by a committee chaired by Additional IG Welfare, Riaz Nazir Gara. Following this approval, IG Punjab Dr. Anwar issued orders for the implementation of the decision. This gesture is part of a broader effort by the Punjab Police to honor the sacrifices of its officers and provide for the needs of their families. Dr. Anwar highlighted that the welfare of the families of over 1,600 martyrs and 1,700 wounded officers remains a top priority for the department, reflecting its commitment to recognizing their service and sacrifice.
