Punjab Police Detains Nine Transgenders Following Protest in Gujarat

Lahore, Punjab Police have detained nine transgender individuals following a protest at the Sadar Kharian police station in Gujarat. The individuals were sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand after being charged with vandalism and taking the law into their hands.

According to Punjab Police, DPO Gujarat Syed Asad Muzaffar reported that efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest other participants involved in the incident. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to ensure that all legal requirements and justice are upheld regarding the disturbance caused during the protest.
