National Conference Vows to Restore Rights in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the National Conference (NC), has committed to restoring the rights of the people of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir if his party is elected. These statements were made as Abdullah launched his campaign for the Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency from the Beerwah area.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during his campaign kickoff, Abdullah challenged the residents to reflect on their conditions since the significant constitutional changes on August 5, 2019. He criticized the current administration for injustices purportedly meted out to the common people and appealed for support in the upcoming Parliamentary and future Assembly elections.

Abdullah’s campaign emphasizes the National Conference’s pledge to fight for the restoration of rights and to address the grievances of the local population through democratic means.
