Punjab Police ready to provide security in upcoming general elections: IG

Inspector General Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the Punjab Police are ready to provide security in the upcoming general elections.

In a statement, he said that one lac thirty thousand police personnel including ten thousand women police officers are being assigned duties during elections.

He assured that the law and order situation across the province is satisfactory, and action will be taken against those who violate the law.
