Quetta, At the passing-out parade in Quetta, Inspector General of Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh highlighted the crucial role of police officers in society, urging new officers to approach their duties with a sense of worship and service rather than merely as a job. The event celebrated the graduation of 334 officers and personnel who completed their training in Qalat.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, IG Sheikh congratulated the graduates, underscoring the significant responsibilities they carry in establishing peace and contributing positively to society. He noted that with the rise in terrorism incidents over recent years, the demand for well-trained police personnel has grown, necessitating training that meets modern requirements.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Principal RTC Sikandar Khan Khajak, SP Dostin Dashti, FC Colonel Umar, and Tehsil Municipal Chairman Nawabzada Mir Shaob Jan Zahri, along with other political and tribal leaders from Kalat. IG Sheikh also took the opportunity to inaugurate a newly constructed building for the SSP Office in Saurabh, marking a significant development in regional police infrastructure.
