Rain-related incidents claim 27 lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Twenty seven people have died in rain-caused incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last four days.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thirty-three houses were completely damaged while one-hundred and twenty-nine houses partially damaged due to heavy rains across the province.

The worst rain-affected districts include Malakand, Bajaur, Peshawar, Khyber, Swat, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Mardan, Lower Dir and Charsadda.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has directed the concerned authorities to distribute relief goods and financial assistance among the rain affected people.
