Registration starts for Punjab Kissan Card

The registration process of Chief Minister Punjab Kissan Card has been started under which loans worth three hundred billion rupees annually will be issued to the farmers.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in a statement today, said the card is available to farmers owning up to twelve point five acres of land.

She said each farmer will be eligible for an interest-free loan of up to one hundred fifty thousand rupees per crop.

For registration, farmers can send a text message with “PKC [Space] ID card number” to 8070 from their mobile phones.
