Relief and Rescue operations by Pakistan Army troops in flood affected areas

Rawalpindi: Relief and Rescue operations by Pakistan Army troops in flood affected areas of Badin, Mithi, Mir Pur Khas, Tando Allahyar, Umar Kot, Pangrio, Nawab Shah and Sanghar Districts have continued with the help of motorized boats, heavy vehicles and helicopters.

So far, 58000 persons have been rescued and 885 Tons of ration was also distributed among affectees through helicopters and by road.

To provide safe drinking water in flood affected areas six water filtration plants have also been established.

Meanwhile Army Doctors treated more than 38699 patients in medical camps and Mobile Medical Units in all affected districts.
