Russia, Pakistan making progress to expand trade ties: Ambassador

Islamabad, June 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, Danila Ganich has said Russia considers Pakistan its reliable partner and both countries are making progress to expand bilateral ties particularly trade relation. Talking to media, the Ambassador said trade turnover between Russia and Pakistan, which was merely 90 million dollars in 1990s, is now half billion dollars.

He said Pakistan and Russia have agreed to build up direct links between their cities and are also reviewing for establishing interaction between the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Moscow government.
