Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan Limited’s dispatch of final dividend warrants-year ended December 31, 2012

Karachi, May 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): We are pleased to inform you that the dividend warrants, for in respect of final dividend @ Rs. 12.50 per share (i.e. 125%) out of profits for the year ended December 31, 2012 have been dispatched to the shareholders, by TCS Courier Service as on May 20, 2013, whose CNIC numbers was available with the Company in the members register.

The dispatch of dividend warrants as mentioned above have been made in compliance with the requirements of the notification vide SRO No. 779 dated 18th August 2011 requiring printing of CNIC # of all shareholders on their Dividend Warrants.

Further, to inform you that vide our letter dated May 15, 2013, we have sought permission from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for dispatch of dividend warrants to the shareholders for whom CNIC number is not available with us. SECP’s approval in respect of the above subject is still awaited; accordingly, to comply with the requirements of SRO No. 779 dated 18th August 2011, the dividend warrants in respect of the above mentioned shareholders have been withheld by the Company until permission thereof is grated by the SECP.
