According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The operation, conducted based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists in the area, witnessed intense gunfire exchange between the security forces and the terrorists. During the operation, security forces managed to uncover and dismantle a hideout used by the terrorists.

The terrorists killed in the operation were identified as individuals actively involved in various terrorist activities, including targeted attacks on security personnel and innocent civilians in the region.

Following the operation, security forces have initiated a sanitization process in the area, reaffirming their commitment to eradicating the scourge of terrorism from the country.
