Security Forces Neutralize Five Terrorists at Pakistan-Afghanistan Border in Bajaur

Bajaur: In a significant border security operation last night, Pakistani security forces killed five members of Fitna al Khwarij and injured four others who were attempting to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Bajaur District.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the troops effectively engaged the infiltrators, preventing their entry into Pakistani territory. However, the confrontation led to an intense exchange of fire during which three Pakistani soldiers—Naik Inayat Khan, Lance Naik Umer Hayat, and Sepoy Waqar Khan—heroically sacrificed their lives.

The ongoing issue of border management has been a point of contention, with Pakistan consistently urging the Interim Afghan Government to enhance its border controls to prevent such incursions. Expectations remain for the Afghan government to fulfill its responsibilities in denying terrorists safe havens on its soil.

The commitment of Pakistani security forces to safeguard the nation’s borders remains unwavering, reinforced by the sacrifices of its soldiers.
