Srinagar, June 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian police arrested the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Shabbir Ahmad Shah and the Islamic Political Party Chairman, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash along with other Hurriyet activists in Pampore.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash along with other Hurriyet activists were going to Islamabad town to pay homage to Dr Qazi Nisar on his 19th martyrdom anniversary that police arrested them on Pampore.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the arrest of its party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and other Hurriyet leaders and described it frustration of the occupation authorities.
He said that the authorities were trying to sabotage the ongoing liberation movement by using all means but they would never succeed in their nefarious designs as the people of Kashmir had vowed to take the liberation movement to its logical conclusion. He said that Kashmiris had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste.
