Shaheen Insurance Company Dispatches Bonus Shares

Karachi, Shaheen Insurance Company Limited has completed the dispatch and credit of bonus share certificates to its shareholders. The company announced that 90% of the 7.5% bonus shares for the period ending December 31, 2023, were distributed on May 21, 2024. These shares were either sent through courier service or credited to shareholders’ accounts in the Central Depository System (CDS) of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the distribution process included bonus shares announced previously on April 22, 2024. The remaining 10% of the bonus shares will be distributed following the collection of income tax, as mandated by section 236Z of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
