Islamabad, Shifa International Hospitals Limited has released a notice for the election of its directors, as required under Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice, detailing the election process, will be published on June 06, 2024, in the “Business Recorder” and “Daily Express” newspapers.
The forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, scheduled for June 15, 2024, at the company’s registered office in Islamabad, will see the election of ten directors. The candidates eligible to contest the elections are Dr. Samea Kauser Ahmad, Dr. Mohammad Naseem Ansari, Mr. Shah Naveed Saeed, Dr. Mohammad Salim Khan, Dr. Habib Ur Rahman, Dr. Manzoor H. Qazi, Mr. Qasim Farooq Ahmad, Syed Ilyas Ahmed, Dr. Joan P. Cleaton-Jones, and Mr. Taimoor Shah. Since the number of candidates is equal to the positions available, all nominated individuals will stand elected unopposed.
