Sindh: 23rd meeting of Apex committee held in Karachi

The 23rd meeting of Apex committee held under Sindh chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Monday.

The meeting reviewed National action plan, implementation of decisions taken in the 22nd meeting of apex committee, investigation and prosecution of antiterrorism cases.

The meeting was also briefed about the current security situation in the province.

Meanwhile, addressing a meeting regarding Malir Expressway project in Karachi,Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said the project will provide a shortest route to connect the city to Motorway M-9.

He said the six-lane Expressway will be built on the left bank of Malir River.

The Expressway would start from Qayyumabad KPT Interchange and will end at M-9 Motorway near DHA Phase 9.

He said Sindh Government would provide 30 percent of the funds for the project while 40 percent would be taken as loan from the bank and another 30 percent would be provided through public-private partnership.
