Srinagar, KPDCL Suspends 15 Employees Amid Disciplinary Action in IIOJK

Srinagar, In a recent administrative crackdown, the Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has suspended 15 of its employees, initiating formal disciplinary proceedings against them for unspecified reasons.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the decision was made by the KPDCL’s Managing Director and other key administrative figures, who issued a series of suspension orders targeting personnel across various operational roles within the organization. The affected employees include ten linemen, meter readers, and technicians, all of whom have been placed on immediate suspension pending further investigation.

This action follows closely on the heels of another disciplinary measure taken by the KPDCL, in which 12 engineers were suspended under similar circumstances. While specific details of the infractions or misconduct leading to these suspensions have not been disclosed, the series of punitive measures indicates a broader effort within the KPDCL to enforce accountability and regulatory compliance among its staff.

The broader implications of these suspensions on the KPDCL’s operations and the individuals involved remain to be seen, as the corporation moves forward with its internal review and disciplinary processes.
