Standard Chartered Pakistan Appoints New Independent Non-Executive Director

Karachi: Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ghiasuddin Khan as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective July 12, 2024.

Mr. Khan joins the board following approval from the State Bank of Pakistan, replacing Mr. Towfiq Chinoy. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this change aims to maintain the bank’s commitment to robust governance and fresh perspectives within its board operations.
