Standing Committee on Energy Reviews Ministry’s Performance and Initiatives

Islamabad: The second meeting of the Standing Committee on Energy (Petroleum Division) was convened today, chaired by Syed Mustafa Mehmood, MNA, focusing on the comprehensive review of the ministry’s performance and its ongoing and new initiatives.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meeting, held in Committee Room No. 7 of the Parliament House, saw the participation of the Federal Minister for Energy and other committee members. The Secretary of the Ministry of Energy provided an in-depth overview of the ministry’s roles, challenges, and forward-looking strategies. The discussion spotlighted key issues and potential solutions aimed at enhancing service delivery nationwide.

Participants included notable members such as Syed Naveed Qamar, Muhammad Nawaz Khan, and other distinguished members and senior officers from the ministry and its associated departments. The session underscored the Ministry’s commitment to improving its operations and the strategic direction of upcoming projects within the Petroleum Division.
