State Councillor of China calls on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee

Rawalpindi: H.E. Mr. Dia Bingguo, representative of the Chinese President and State Councillor of People’s Republic of China, called on General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and discussed matters related to mutual interest and emerging geo-strategic situation. The visiting dignitary who is heading a high powered delegation remained with Chairman for some time. Mr. Dia Bingguo while appreciating the role played by Pakistan in the fight against terror, reiterated that the relations and bond of friendship between the two countries will be further enhanced .
