Supreme Court of Pakistan calls report from Inspector General of Police Sindh in Human Rights’ Case

Islamabad, June 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took Notice on application of Ms. Sadia Sarbazi R/o Karachi registered through Human Rights Cell of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad.

The applicant stated in her applicant that her brother who is journalist by profession has been kidnapped on 24.03.2013 and since then whereabouts of her brother are not known. She prayed for recovery of her brother

Taking the cognizance, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan ordered that:

“Report be called from IGP Sindh as well as Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan within 15 days.”
