Supreme Court of Pakistan Declares National Holiday for Youm-e-Takbeer

Islamabad, In an official notification released today, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared May 28th as a court holiday in observance of Youm-e-Takbeer. According to Supreme Court of Pakistan, the notification, numbered F.9/1/99-2013-SCA, is a continuation of earlier directives that reference communications from the Cabinet Secretary, underscoring the national importance of this day. The Chief Justice of Pakistan has sanctioned the holiday, marking it as an opportunity for the nation to commemorate its historical milestone in nuclear technology, which is celebrated annually as Youm-e-Takbeer.
